STF Aurora Sky Station has a large outdoor terrace and a lookout tower from which you can experience the Northern Lights and a starry sky. Inside there is a Northern Lights exhibition which, in an easy way, describes what the Northern Lights are. Enhance your experience further by joining one of our popular guided tours!
Round off by dropping into the small, warm café where you can buy a cup of genuine “fika” coffee and/or purchase souvenirs.

There are a limited number of tickets for STF Aurora Sky Station’s Night Visit package. We recommend that you book and pay in advance. Remaining places can be purchased at STF Abisko Turiststation.
If you stay at Abisko Östra or in Björkliden, Abisko Mountain Lodge, Abisko Guesthouse, Abisko.net or Hotell Fjället, you can book a transfer to/from STF Aurora Sky Station.
When booking any of our STF Aurora Sky Station packages, we cannot guarantee that you will see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) STF Aurora Sky Station and the chairlift may be closed at short notice due to adverse weather conditions – strong winds, severe cold, snowstorm, etc. Statistics, however, show that STF Aurora Sky Station is open approx. 90% of the times scheduled and the Northern Lights are visible approx. 70% of the evenings we are open. If we have to close STF Aurora Sky Station because of bad weather, you will have access to the Aurora Lounge.
